
At Computex 2009, InnoDisk unveils a 128GB SSD Solid State Drive they call “nanoSSD” This is one of the smallest Solid State Drives coming to the market pretty soon.
Take a look at the above picture for a size comprison from a regular desktop hard drive to a industry standard Solid State Drive to the InnoDisk 128GB nanoSSD.
The InnoDisk 128GB nanoSSD is said to withstand extreme g-forces. They demonstrated this at Computex with the unit plugged onto a vibrating motherboard to show the effectiveness.
To withstand the g-forces, the SSD features Hooks, An Extra Latch, Pin 7 VCC (Patented), and Positioning Holes (Patented). Price and availability has not been announced yet.
